The Konkan Delegation is a part of the
Salesian Province of Mumbai. Due to the vast geographical area of
the Province of Mumbai, the Konkan Delegation was set up to facilitate
the better administration of this region. Fr. Romulo Noronha is the
delegate of the Konkan Region. The Delegation consitsts of the state
of Goa and parts of the states of Maharashtra and Karnataka. At present
there are fourteen institutions working in this region.
The Salesian work in this region began
in 1946 and has spread over the years. This site contains information
about the Konkan Delegation - the institutions, the Salesians working there,
the works carried out, history, and more.
